1. Introduction

These terms and conditions govern the services provided by KJ Green Optical, located at 135 London Road, Benfleet, Essex, SS7 5UH. These services include eye examinations, dispensing, and the supply of spectacles, contact lenses and other optical products.

2. Appointments

2.1. Appointments can be made by telephone, email or in person.

2.2. We require at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

2.3. If you do not attend your appointment without providing sufficient notice, you may be charged a Did Not Attend (DNA) fee.

3. Eye examinations

3.1. Eye examinations are carried out by a qualified optometrist.

3.2. An eye examination may include the use of dilating eye drops to examine your eyes fully. These drops may temporarily affect your vision.

3.3. We may refer you to an appropriate specialist if your examination identifies a potential eye-health concern.

4. Dispensing

4.1. Spectacles and contact lenses are dispensed under the supervision of an appropriately registered optical professional.

4.2. We will advise you about the most appropriate spectacles or contact lenses for your individual needs.

4.3. After your eye examination, we will provide you with a copy of your prescription. You may use this to purchase spectacles or contact lenses from any provider.
